Peterborough Salary - Negotiable DOE Monday - Friday days. Your new role: Based in Peterborough, you will be joining the UK's leading water/ clean water equipment and processing manufacturing business, who now, due to continued growth, are looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join their engineering team on a 12 month fixed term contract.Offering a range of industry-leading benefits, including private healthcare, a generous holiday allowance and other perks, this is an excellent time to join this fast-expanding company in a hands-on maintenance role! Key Responsibilities & Duties: • Assemble, install, maintain, and repair mechanical components to ensure optimal equipment functionality. • Perform refurbishment and fabrication of parts and equipment • Calibrate and validate instruments to maintain accuracy and compliance • Work independently or collaboratively with qualified fitters, fabricators, welders, and electricians on larger projects • Quality inspection of equipment, machinery and parts. This is just a summed-up list, and other duties will be required.
