Job Title: Mechanical Inspector Location: Poole, Dorset (BH15) Salary: £38,000 - £40,500 per year Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Help Maintain Quality Across Precision Engineering Projects. Aaron Manufacturing is a leading precision engineering company supplying high-quality components to customers within aerospace, motorsport, nuclear and oil & gas industries. As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Mechanical Inspector to join our Quality team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong engineering background who enjoys ensuring every component leaving the workshop meets exact customer specifications. The Role: Working closely with our machinists and management team, you'll be responsible for ensuring components meet customer requirements before dispatch. Your duties will include: • Carrying out first-off, in-process and final inspections. • Producing First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR). • Completing inspection documentation. • Using a wide range of precision measuring equipment. • Inspecting precision-machined components to tight tolerances. • Investigating non-conforming products. • Working with production teams to identify corrective actions. • Supporting continuous quality improvement initiatives. • Releasing conforming products for dispatch. About You: Essential: • Previous Mechanical Inspection experience. • Engineering or manufacturing background. • Experience inspecting precision engineered components. • Understanding of ISO9001 quality standards. • Excellent attention to detail. • Computer literacy. • Good communication skills. Desirable: • FAIR experience. • Aerospace quality experience. • CMM experience (if applicable).
