Mechanical Technician

Are you an experienced technician or engineer looking for a new challenge? My client is a friendly and successful specialist engineering company who are looking to expand. Their innovative products are supplied to a wide range of sectors and your responsibilities will include the assembly of products, predominantly mechanical, eg fabrication, welding, fitting components but also some electrical/electronic work. You will be following processes and instructions to assemble these highly technical products then testing them to ensure product quality. You will be used to working with electro-mechanical products and have strong attention to detail together with good communication and interpersonal skills. Good problem solving skills and a strong team player, you will have a good broad understanding of different engineering and manufacturing processes. Working in a small and friendly team, this role may interest you if you have worked previously as a production technician, engineering technician, manufacturing technician, assembly operative, production operative, assembly technician, mechanical assembly technician, systems technician, production assembly operative, electro-mechanical technician or similar. This role is easily commutable from Cambridge, Newmarket, Huntingdon, Chatteris, March, Littleport, Huntingdon, St Ives, Mildenhall, Ely, Thetford, Brandon and many more places in Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk.
