Medical Welfare OfficerLocation: Woodford Green, Essex Salary: Competitive (DOE) Make a Difference Every DayOur client is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Medical Welfare Officer to join a specialist education setting supporting children and young people with complex additional needs. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a caring nature who is passionate about promoting the health, safety, and wellbeing of pupils while working as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team. The RoleAs the Medical Welfare Officer, you will: • Provide medical care and day-to-day wellbeing support to pupils. • Administer prescribed medication safely and accurately. • Liaise with healthcare professionals to ensure medical plans are current and effective. • Attend medical reviews and multidisciplinary meetings where required. • Maintain the safe storage and administration of medication and medical supplies. • Ensure school procedures relating to first aid, seizures, moving and handling, and feeding are followed at all times. • Support the Senior Leadership Team in maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for all pupils.
