Mental Health Social Worker • Location: Salford Civic • Job Type: Hybrid (up to 2 days work from home) • Rate: £30 per hour We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Social Worker to join our Front Door team at Salford Civic. This role involves conducting visits and assessments in support of the contact team, offering a vital service in the community. Hybrid working options are available, allowing for up to two days of work from home per week. Day-to-day of the role: • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs. • Collaborate closely with the contact team to provide timely and effective support. • Make home visits to clients as part of the assessment and support process. • Develop and implement tailored care plans based on assessment findings. • Maintain accurate and detailed records of assessments, interventions, and outcomes. • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss cases and update on client progress. • Provide crisis intervention as needed. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Qualified Social Worker with a current registration. • Experience in mental health settings, particularly in conducting assessments and home visits. • Strong understanding of mental health issues and the social factors that affect mental health. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations. • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. • Proficient in maintaining accurate and detailed records.
