MFL Teacher (French & German) Cyprus Start Date: September 2026 Temporary Contract (Initially One Term with Potential Extension) Paid to Scale | Dependent on Experience An Exciting Overseas Teaching Opportunity Reed Education is working in partnership with a successful and well-regarded secondary school in Cyprus that is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Modern Foreign Languages Teacher to join their team from September. We are looking for a teacher who can confidently deliver French across Key Stages 3-5, with the ability to teach German up to KS5. The school follows a British-style curriculum, offering students a broad academic programme through Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, including IGCSE and A Level pathways. This is an initial one-term contract, with the potential for extension should a permanent appointment not be secured. The Role As an MFL Teacher, you will: • Teach French up to Key Stage 5. • Teach German up to Key Stage 5. • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons. • Prepare students for external examinations, including GCSE/IGCSE and A Level. • Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback. • Contribute positively to the wider life of the school. • Maintain high expectations for achievement and behaviour. About You We are looking for someone who: • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. • Has experience teaching French and German within a secondary setting. • Can teach French and German confidently to examination level. • Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills. • Is adaptable, professional and committed to delivering outstanding teaching. • Holds a full driving licence and is confident driving, as this is essential due to the school's location.
