• £35,000 - £40,000 DOE • London + hybrid We’re working with a globally recognised, design-led lifestyle brand to recruit a Midweight Graphic & Packaging Designer. This business has built a strong reputation for its distinctive, trend-driven aesthetic with products stocked in major retailers across international markets. The role sits within a busy and collaborative creative team, focused on delivering standout product ranges for major retail partners across multiple markets. This is a great opportunity for a designer who enjoys balancing creativity with commercial thinking. You’ll be responsible for translating briefs into considered, market-ready designs, with a strong focus on graphics, packaging, and visual execution. The role offers real ownership, with the expectation that you can take projects forward confidently while contributing fresh ideas and creative direction. Key Responsibilities: Design Development & Delivery • Translate briefs into strong, commercially viable design concepts • Create engaging visuals across product graphics, packaging, and supporting materials • Develop and refine ideas through to final artwork, ensuring readiness for production • Apply a consistent and elevated design standard across all outputs Packaging & Technical Artwork • Produce detailed packaging artwork including layout, cutter guides, and print specifications • Manage revisions efficiently, maintaining quality and consistency throughout • Ensure all files are accurate, compliant and ready for manufacturing Trend & Market Awareness • Use trend insight, competitor awareness, and retail understanding to inform design decisions • Contribute ideas that feel relevant, differentiated, and aligned to the brand • Balance creative exploration with practical and commercial considerations Cross-Functional Collaboration • Work closely with internal teams to deliver projects effectively • Support the creation of visual materials for customer presentations and pitches • Communicate clearly with stakeholders to manage expectations and timelines Requirements: • Experience in a similar midweight design role within a consumer product or related sector • Strong portfolio demonstrating packaging-focused work and commercial design thinking • Confident using Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop • Experience preparing artwork for print and production • Good understanding of retail environments and customer-led design • Able to manage multiple briefs and deadlines in a fast-paced setting • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong attention to detail • Comfortable taking ownership while contributing to a team environment Diversity & Inclusion: ILMJ values diversity, equality and inclusion and encourages applicants from all backgrounds and identities.
