MIG Welder Location: Ashford (own transport required) Pay rate:£16.10 per hour Full-time, Permanent | 8:00am - 5:30pm | Overtime Available Are you an experienced MIG Welder looking to join a successful and established business? Our client is seeking a skilled and reliable individual to become part of their friendly and supportive production team on the outskirts of Ashford. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong welding background who takes pride in producing high-quality work and enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Role Reporting to the Manager, you will be responsible for manufacturing high-quality products, working from engineering drawings and ensuring all work meets company quality standards. Key duties include: • Carrying out MIG welding in both production and bench environments • Reading and interpreting basic engineering drawings • Producing products to a consistently high standard • Adhering to all health and safety procedures and company policies • Supporting other areas of the manufacturing department when required • Working collaboratively as part of a stable and experienced team What We're Looking For: • MIG production welding experience • The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings • Strong attention to detail and quality standards • The ability to work independently and as part of a team • A flexible and dependable approach to work • A willingness to work overtime when required Benefits • Up to 27 days annual leave, plus bank holidays • Holiday purchase scheme • Company pension • Healthcare benefits (following qualifying period) • Employee discount • Free on-site parking • Staff canteen • Health and well-being programme • All welding equipment and tools provided Additional Information • Due to the rural location of the site, your own transport is essential.
