MIG Welder / FabricatorLocation: Tonbridge, Kent Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30am-4:00pm Contract: Permanent Start: ASAP We’re looking for an experienced MIG Welder/Fabricator to join a busy and established manufacturing business near Tonbridge. You’ll be producing straightforward fabricated steel products in a well-equipped workshop. The work can be repetitive, so this will suit someone who enjoys consistent production work and takes pride in maintaining a good standard throughout the day. What you’ll be doing • MIG welding and fabricating steel products • Measuring, cutting, tacking and assembling components • Working from technical drawings, measurements and production jigs • Keeping fabricated products square and within the required tolerances • Checking the quality and accuracy of your work • Meeting daily production targets as part of a supportive team • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment What we’re looking for • Recent, hands-on MIG welding experience • Good general fabrication knowledge • Ability to read and work from technical drawings • Confidence measuring and fabricating accurately • Experience producing frames, gates, railings or similar products would be useful • Comfortable carrying out repetitive production work • Reliable, quality-focused and safety-conscious You don’t need coded welding qualifications or highly complex fabrication experience. What matters is that you can MIG weld properly, understand general fabrication and consistently produce good-quality work.
