MIG Welder

We are currently recruiting for an experienced MIG Welder to join a growing manufacturing business that prides itself on producing high-quality fabricated products. As a MIG Welder, you will play a key role in the fabrication and assembly process, ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities • Perform MIG welding on mild steel, stainless steel, and other materials as required. • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and fabrication specifications. • Prepare materials for welding, including cutting, grinding, and cleaning components. • Produce high-quality welds that meet customer and company quality standards. • Inspect completed welds and carry out any necessary finishing work. • Operate fabrication equipment and hand tools safely and effectively. • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment. • Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies. • Work collaboratively with production teams to achieve daily production targets. • Report equipment faults, quality concerns, or production issues to supervisors. The ideal candidate will have: • Previous experience as a MIG Welder within a manufacturing or fabrication environment. • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. • Strong understanding of welding techniques and fabrication processes. • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Good problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude. • Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high safety standards.
