MLOps Platform Manager London Rate: £550-£650 Outside IR35 Per Day Work Type: Fully remote Start: ASAP The Company They are a well established organisation with a strong enterprise data estate and a clear commitment to using data and AI responsibly at scale. The business operates in a complex environment where reliability, security and governance are essential. Data, analytics and machine learning teams work closely together, supported by a central platform function focused on operational excellence. The Role and Deliverables • Own the day to day operation of Palantir platforms and associated MLOps services, ensuring availability, performance and a strong user experience. • Establish and run service management processes including incident, problem and change management, supported by clear documentation and runbooks. • Define and embed standard MLOps patterns covering model development, deployment, monitoring and lifecycle governance. • Lead platform releases and upgrades, including planning, testing, communication and rollback where required. • Implement and maintain security, risk and compliance controls for data and machine learning workloads. • Manage the platform roadmap, cost optimisation activities and key supplier relationships. Your Skills & Experience • Strong experience operating Palantir platforms in production, or comparable enterprise data platforms, with ownership of platform operations. • Proven capability delivering MLOps practices end to end, including CI/CD, automation, monitoring and model governance. • Experience working closely with security, risk and governance teams to evidence controls and support audits. • Confident stakeholder management skills, able to balance delivery speed, cost and risk across technical and non technical teams. • A service owner mindset with a focus on stability, continuous improvement and enabling delivery teams.
