Mot Tester

Overview We are seeking for a MOT Tester to join our automotive service team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting vehicle safety inspections in accordance with UK legislation, ensuring vehicles meet required standards before they are driven on public roads. Duties • Conduct MOT tests on a variety of vehicles, ensuring compliance with all legal and safety standards. • Perform thorough inspections covering brakes, tyres, lights, steering, suspension, exhaust emissions, and other critical components. • Use specialised equipment and hand tools to carry out tests efficiently and accurately. • Record test results clearly and accurately, providing detailed reports to customers. • Identify any defects or issues requiring repair or further investigation and advise customers accordingly. • Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the testing bay and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency. • Keep up-to-date with current MOT regulations and industry best practices through ongoing training.
