Our client, a reputable and well-established motorcycle dealership in Bridgend, South Wales, is seeking to recruit a Used Motorcycle Buyer. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional with a passion for motorcycles to join a successful and expanding business. Benefits: • Basic salary of £28,500 per annum • Monthly performance-based bonuses with a potential £40,000 annual on-target earnings • 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays • Workplace pension scheme • Health care benefits • In-house training programmes • Attractive long-term career prospects within one of the UK’s largest motorcycle dealer groups with over 40 years of operational success Duties of a Motorcycle Buyer: • Sourcing over 350 used motorcycles annually for the dealership's stock • Engaging with the public and traders to source high-quality bikes • Negotiating and purchasing motorcycles to maximise profitability • Ensuring all purchases meet quality standards and dealership expectations • Managing documentation and administration related to vehicle acquisitions as a Motorcycle Buyer • Building and maintaining relationships with traders and local dealers • Achieving sales and procurement targets set by management • Providing excellent customer service to encourage repeat business • Handling logistics such as moving bikes, loading/unloading vans, and driving a four-metre sprinter Requirements of a Motorcycle Buyer: • Strong understanding of motorcycle buying and sales processes • Experience working within a motorcycle dealership or automotive sector advantageous • Good communication and negotiation skills • Enthusiasm and passion for motorcycles • Confident handling and moving bikes, including loading/unloading • Valid UK motorcycle licence with minimal points • Ability to operate computer systems and manage administrative tasks • Outgoing, polite personality with a willingness to learn • Team player with a proactive attitude If you are a motivated Used Motorcycle Buyer looking to develop your career within a leading motorcycle retail group, this is an excellent opportunity to further your skills and progress professionally.
