MULTI SKILLED MAINTENANCE ENGINEER Job Title: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Location: Accrington Salary: £43,000 - £49,000 Shift: Days and Nights I'm working with a growing manufacturer looking to recruit a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team. You'll be responsible for planned preventative maintenance, reactive breakdowns, and fault finding across production machinery, using both your mechanical and electrical skills to keep operations running smoothly. You'll also support continuous improvement, machinery upgrades, installations, and engineering projects. Sector - Manufacturer Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Maintenance Engineer • Mechanical/Electrical maintenance experience • Mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills. • Experience with PPM and reactive maintenance. • Engineering qualification Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer • Health & Safety conscious with a proactive approach. • Experience working within a production environment • Worked on hydraulics and pneumatics systems • Good problem-solving and communication skills. • Able to work independently and as part of a team. Desirable Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer • PLC fault-finding experience. • Continuous improvement or project experience. • 17th/18th Edition or other relevant electrical qualifications.
