Role: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 per annum Hours: Rotating shift pattern (Early's/lates) Location: Commutable from Malmesbury, Faringdon, Chippenham, Swindon Company: We are recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical bias) to work within a large industrial company at one of their automated factories. You will benefit from a friendly and loyal team of Engineers working in this fast paced environment. You will also benefit from opportunities to gain further qualifications, developing more skills and building a career within this large company. Responsibilities: Maintenance Engineers (Shift Engineers) support the production machinery including reactive, trouble-shooting and repair tasks, planned preventative maintenance, new installations and refurbishments. This would suit Maintenance Engineers who like to variation, to work across a range of machinery and equipment, who aren’t afraid to apply themselves and learn. Requirements: • A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a manufacturing/process environment. • Completed an Engineering Level 3 and 4 NVQ qualification. A ‘Higher National Diploma’ will be a distinct advantage or C&G equivalent. • You will be self-motivated, able to make decisions and react quickly to the needs of the business. • Ability to develop effective working relationships across all levels of management and staff and work as part of a team. • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. (Inc. use of MS Office) • To record PPM information into a CMMS system accurately. • A logical approach to fault finding with a high attention to detail. • Able to travel to offsite training facilities and other factories in the group, as and when required • Have ANY of the following experience; conveyors, boilers, packaging, bearings, belts, 3 phase, motors, sensors, inverters, relays, contactors, 3 phase, PLC’s, pneumatics, hydraulics, belts, bearings etc. – any of these will be considered • Friendly and adaptable working attitude • Proactive work attitude and keen to get your hands dirty If this role sounds of interest, please apply now and send your most up to date CV to Vicky at TechNichols Resourcing to be considered.
