Multi-Skilled Maintenance Operative Peterborough & Surrounding Areas £20.00 - £22.00 Per Hour Full-Time | Ongoing Contract Work We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Operative to join a busy and well-established team carrying out repairs and maintenance across residential properties within the social housing sector. This role is ideal for someone with previous experience working for a housing association, local authority, repairs contractor or social housing provider, who enjoys a varied workload and takes pride in delivering a high standard of work. The Role • Carrying out day-to-day maintenance and repair works • Completing reactive and planned maintenance tasks • General repairs across a variety of trades • Diagnosing faults and identifying effective solutions • Working within occupied and void properties What We're Looking For • Experience working within social housing, property maintenance or repairs • Good all-round maintenance skills across multiple trades • Experience working in occupied residential properties • Ability to diagnose repairs and resolve issues independently • Trade qualifications are advantageous but not essential • Experience working for housing associations, local authorities or maintenance contractors is highly desirable Why Apply? £20.00 - £22.00 per hour Consistent workload on a long-term housing contract Opportunity to work with a respected maintenance team This opportunity would suit candidates from a social housing, responsive repairs, voids, planned maintenance or local authority background looking for a stable, long-term role with a strong pipeline of work.
