Market 36 Recruitment is currently recruiting Multiskilled Fabricators on behalf of our client based on the outskirts of Braintree. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in the construction or manufacturing industry. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal role for candidates with a practical mindset, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. As a Fabricator, you will be involved in the production of high-quality floor, wall, and roof panels used in the construction of residential properties, including houses and apartment buildings. Key Responsibilities • Assemble steel frame components using hand and power tools. • Read and interpret technical drawings. • Measure and mark materials accurately. • Install insulation, wall panels, windows, and doors. • Cut openings for ventilation and other building services. • Manufacture and assemble products to specification and quality standards. • Meet production targets while maintaining high levels of workmanship. • Carry out quality checks throughout the manufacturing process. • Work safely and efficiently using a variety of tools and equipment. • Support other production areas when required. • Undertake general factory, warehouse, and production duties. • Carry out manual handling tasks as part of the role. About You We're looking for candidates who: • Have practical skills gained through work experience, education, or personal projects. • Are reliable, punctual, and enjoy working as part of a team. • Have a genuine interest in construction, manufacturing, or production. • Are confident using hand and power tools. • Can read tape measures accurately and interpret technical drawings (or are willing to learn). • Are comfortable with manual handling and physically active work. • Have a strong awareness of health and safety. • Take pride in producing accurate, high-quality work. • Are eager to develop new skills and progress within the business.
