Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Location: Bourne, Lincolnshire Shift: Sunday - Thursday | 6:00pm - 3:00am (Back Shift) Salary: £43,650 + Overtime + Benefits Are you a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking to join a well-established and growing food manufacturing business? Due to continued investment and growth, we are looking for an experienced engineer to strengthen our engineering team at our Bourne facility. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment where you will play a key role in maintaining production performance and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The RoleAs a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring all production machinery and site services operate efficiently, minimising downtime and supporting production targets. Key responsibilities include: • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown repairs. • Fault finding on a range of electrical and mechanical systems. • Supporting continuous improvement and reliability projects. • Maintaining accurate maintenance records using the CMMS system. • Working closely with production teams to minimise downtime and improve machine performance. • Ensuring all engineering activities are completed in line with health and safety standards. About YouTo be successful in this role, you will ideally have: • NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Level 3 qualification in Engineering (Essential). • Previous experience working within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment. • Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills. • Experience working with motors, drives, sensors, conveyors, pneumatics and packaging machinery. • PLC fault-finding experience would be advantageous. • 18th Edition qualification is highly desirable. • A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving abilities.
