Music & Drama Teacher (KS3 & KS4) Kirklees | September - December Contract | Secondary School Inspire creativity. Build confidence. Bring the arts to life. A welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Kirklees is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Music & Drama Teacher to join their team from September until December. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to make an immediate impact, delivering engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 and nurturing students' creative talents. Whether you're an experienced teacher or a confident ECT, we're looking for someone who can inspire a love of performing arts while maintaining high expectations in the classroom. The RoleYou will be responsible for: • Teaching Music and Drama across KS3 and KS4. • Planning and delivering engaging, creative, and inclusive lessons. • Supporting students of all abilities to achieve their full potential. • Assessing, monitoring, and reporting on student progress. • Creating a positive learning environment that encourages creativity, confidence, and self-expression. • Contributing to the wider life of the department and school where appropriate. The Ideal Candidate • Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. • Has experience teaching Music and/or Drama at secondary level. • Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills. • Is passionate about the performing arts and inspiring young people. • Can build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents. • Is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
