Nanny / Housekeeper for Friendly Family — Arthur, 2½ — North Leeds (Scarcroft) LS14 Our client is a warm, busy family in North Leeds / LS14 looking for a kind, reliable and proactive nanny-housekeeper to help care for their son, Arthur, who is 2½, and to help keep family life running smoothly. This is a long-term role for someone who genuinely enjoys children, is calm and practical, and is equally happy helping with toddler routines, nursery runs, meals, laundry, tidying and general household organisation. They have previously tried agencies, but are now looking to recruit directly so they can find the right person for their family. The roleArthur is our client's main priority. They are looking for someone warm, trustworthy and confident with toddlers, who can support his routine, development and day-to-day care. The role will be a mixture of childcare and household support. They will not expect you to clean or do heavy housekeeping while you are sole-charge caring for Arthur. When Arthur is at nursery, asleep, or with someone, they would like help keeping the house organised and running well. LocationNorth Leeds / LS14. You must be able to travel here reliably. A driver would be ideal, especially for nursery runs, errands and local activities. HoursFull-time: Monday to Friday, around 35–45 hours per week or Part-time: 3–4 days per week, around 20–30 hours Start date: ASAP / flexible Pay£16–£18 gross per hour, depending on experience, qualifications and agreed duties. This will be a proper employed role through payroll, with a written contract, paid holiday and pension where applicable. Childcare dutiesDuties may include: • Caring for Arthur in a safe, loving and calm way • Nursery/School drop-offs and pick-ups • Preparing simple healthy meals and snacks for Arthur • Taking Arthur to the park, classes, playgroups or local activities • Supporting naps, routines, bath time and bedtime when needed • Planning age-appropriate play and activities • Keeping Arthur’s bedroom, clothes, toys and play areas clean and organised • Children’s laundry • Occasional babysitting by prior agreement Housekeeping / household dutiesWhen Arthur is at nursery, asleep, or with someone, our client would like help with: • General tidying and keeping the house organised • Family laundry, folding and putting away clothes • Loading and unloading the dishwasher • Keeping the kitchen and family areas clean and tidy • Changing children’s bedding • Light cleaning • Putting away supermarket deliveries • Keeping track of household basics and letting us know what is running low • Simple family meal prep if you are comfortable with this • Occasional errands, parcel returns or dry-cleaning collection They are looking for someone practical and proactive who notices what needs doing and is happy to help keep family life calm and organised.
