Job description

Fraser Carver Executive Search are working with a reputable Real Estate Finance Company based in Central London who are looking to add in a Newly Qualified Accountant into the finance team. Key Responsibilities • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for the UK entities • Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and supporting documentation • Prepare and post journals, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations • Perform bank, balance sheet, and intercompany reconciliations • Assist with month-end close and management reporting processes • Liaise with external tax advisers to support tax compliance and reporting requirements • Work closely with external audit partners, including preparing schedules and responding to audit queries • Support the preparation of statutory accounts and year-end financial information • Ensure finance records are maintained in line with internal controls and accounting standards • Assist with process improvements and finance-related ad hoc tasks as required Requirements: • Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CA / CPA or equivalent) • 1 - 3 years’ post qualification accounting experience, ideally within a fast-paced or multi-entity environment. Real Estate experience preferred but not essential. • Strong bookkeeping and financial accounting experience • Experience working with external tax advisers and auditors • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy • Good understanding of financial controls, reconciliations, and reporting deadlines • Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data • Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively • Clear written and verbal communication skills • A hands-on approach and willingness to take ownership of work Please note that sponsorship is not available so you must have full legal right to work in the UK to be considered for this role.
