Please see the Job Description and Person Specification for further details, a summary is below: • To provide a clinical service to people who use substances and alcohol consistent to their needs including individual treatment and care packages underpinned by a sound evidence base. To assume a key Prescriber role, including the allocation of complex patients, with responsibility for the delivery of medical aspects of the care plan, relevant support and psychotherapeutic interventions, and for communication regarding the patient within the team and with relevant agencies To carryout alcohol and drug detoxification with service users To report to the Team Manager To line manage nursing and recovery staff when directed by Team Managerand to provide group practice supervision on a monthly basis to staff in absence of Team ManagerTo mentor new NMPs and support student nurse placements To provide regular supervision to nurses and recovery workers on a monthly basis as required by the service Job description Job responsibilities Please see the Job Description and Person Specification for further details, a summary is below: • To provide a clinical service to people who use substances and alcohol consistent to their needs including individual treatment and care packages underpinned by a sound evidence base.
