Job description
• Maintain and develop Nuclear Medicine instrumentation, procedures and computing facilities
• Provide advice and assistance to clinicians and other staff on issues relating to Nuclear Medicine
• Ensure instrument quality assurance and the quality control programmes are correctly carried out, ensure equipment is operating correctly and carry out fault finding to resolve equipment problems
• Dispense and administer radionuclide therapy to patients and assist with the development of patient therapy services
• Assist with the maintenance and development of common procedures and protocols
• Liaise with the RPA and RPS staff to ensure day to day work meets the requirements of relevant radiation legislation
