Job description

• Deliver services that meet the needs of service users, their families and carers, ensuring all required records are completed to maintain high-quality support. • Administer and dispense medication in line with professional direction and manufacturer guidelines, supporting the Staff Nurse during medication rounds. • Support and assist the Staff Nurse with the management of day-to-day duties. • Prepare for and participate in reviews with external professionals, including GPs, psychiatrists, and district nurses, under the guidance of the Clinical Lead, documenting outcomes and communicating with family members where appropriate. • Assist colleagues in supporting service users who present with challenging behaviour, ensuring approaches are consistent with agreed nursing support plans. • Coach and mentor Support Workers, contributing to their individual development and effectiveness within the team. • Support colleagues in meeting quality standards set by relevant professional and regulatory bodies. • Undertake any other reasonable duties required to meet the needs of the organisation.
