What You’ll Do • Keep It Spotless: Clean and sanitise rooms, communal areas, toilets, and kitchen facilities to the highest standards. • Support Daily Operations: Work closely with the nursery team to ensure all areas are clean, tidy and ready for the day’s activities. • Maintain Safety Standards: Follow health and safety regulations and infection control procedures to ensure a hygienic environment for children and staff. • Manage Supplies: Monitor cleaning supplies and notify the manager when stock is low. • Follow Schedules: Adhere to daily, weekly and deep-cleaning schedules to meet nursery and regulatory expectations. • Be Proactive: Identify areas needing extra attention and take initiative to maintain exceptional standards throughout the setting. This role is ideal for someone who understands the importance of hygiene in early years settings and takes pride in creating a nurturing, clean environment for young children to thrive in.
