Early Years Educator / Nursery Practitioner (Level 3) Location: Cheltenham, Gloucestershire (Easy commute from Gloucester) Salary: £28,080 – £30,500+ per annum (DOE) Hours: Full-time or Part-time Available (e.g. 40 hours over 4 days) Join a Unique Nursery Setting! What You'll Be Doing Planning & Development • Deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework • Encourage curiosity, creativity, and independence through nature-based learning • Support children aged 0–5 years to learn through exploration and play Key Person Responsibilities • Build strong and positive relationships with children and families • Observe, assess, and record children's development and achievements • Support every child’s individual learning journey Safeguarding & Welfare • Maintain high standards of safeguarding and health & safety • Create a safe, nurturing environment while encouraging appropriate risk-taking and confidence-building outdoors Daily Care & Support • Assist with meals, personal care, and daily routines • Enjoy working outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions Teamwork • Work collaboratively within a friendly and supportive team • Liaise with parents and external professionals when required What We're Looking For Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years/Childcare Qualification (NVQ, CACHE, or equivalent) Good understanding of the EYFS framework (training provided for newly qualified practitioners) Passion for outdoor learning and child development Nursery or Early Years experience desirable but not essential Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one Benefits Competitive salary with regular reviews Generous annual leave, including your birthday off Ongoing training and career development opportunities Supportive mentoring for newly qualified practitioners Staff childcare discounts Opportunity to work in a unique, outdoor-focused environment Friendly and welcoming team culture Apply Today Ask for Corina to find out more about this fantastic opportunity.
