Early Years Educator / Nursery Practitioner (Level 3)
Location: Cheltenham, Gloucestershire (Easy commute from Gloucester)
Salary: £28,080 – £30,500+ per annum (DOE)
Hours: Full-time or Part-time Available (e.g. 40 hours over 4 days)

We are seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Educator / Nursery Practitioner to join our inspiring nursery in the heart of Cheltenham. Whether you're newly qualified and ready to begin your Early Years career, or an experienced practitioner with a love of outdoor learning, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing
Planning & Development
• Deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
• Encourage curiosity, creativity, and independence through nature-based learning
• Support children aged 0–5 years to learn through exploration and play
Key Person Responsibilities
• Build strong and positive relationships with children and families
• Observe, assess, and record children's development and achievements
• Support every child’s individual learning journey
Safeguarding & Welfare
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding and health & safety
• Create a safe, nurturing environment while encouraging appropriate risk-taking and confidence-building outdoors
Daily Care & Support
• Assist with meals, personal care, and daily routines
• Enjoy working outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions
Teamwork
• Work collaboratively within a friendly and supportive team
• Liaise with parents and external professionals when required
What We're Looking For
Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years/Childcare Qualification (NVQ, CACHE, or equivalent)
Good understanding of the EYFS framework (training provided for newly qualified practitioners)
Passion for outdoor learning and child development
Nursery or Early Years experience desirable but not essential
Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one
