About the RoleWe are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join a brand-new, purpose-built nursery in Balham. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a new team from the very beginning, helping to shape the culture, routines, and environment of a growing nursery.
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional care and education, creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children can learn, develop, and thrive.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality care and learning in line with the EYFS framework.
• Plan and support engaging activities that promote children's development.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Observe, assess, and record children's progress.
• Ensure the nursery environment is safe, clean, and welcoming.
• Promote children's wellbeing and safeguard them at all times.
• Work collaboratively as part of the nursery team to maintain high standards of care and education.
About You
• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare.
• Good knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• Passionate about supporting children's learning and development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, enthusiastic, and committed to delivering high-quality childcare.
