About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and motivated Nursery Room Leader to join our brand-new, purpose-built nursery in Balham. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a new nursery from its opening, giving you the chance to help establish a positive culture, lead your room from day one, and make a lasting impact. As Room Leader, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional childcare and education while leading and supporting your team to provide the highest standards of care for every child. Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage the daily operation of your nursery room. • Deliver outstanding care and education in line with the EYFS framework. • Plan and oversee engaging learning experiences that support children's development. • Lead, motivate, and support Nursery Practitioners within your room. • Monitor observations, assessments, and children's learning journeys. • Build strong partnerships with parents and carers. • Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies are consistently followed. • Maintain high standards of practice, compliance, and professionalism throughout the room. About You • Level 3 qualification (or above) in Early Years or Childcare. • Previous experience working within an Early Years setting, ideally in a senior or leadership role. • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures. • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills. • Passionate about delivering outstanding childcare and supporting team development.
