You will lead a dedicated team, ensuring outstanding standards of care, safeguarding, and early education, while creating a calm, stimulating, and engaging environment for children aged 0–2. Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team Management • Lead, motivate, and develop a small team of Early Years practitioners • Promote a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture • Support staff development through mentoring, coaching, and performance reviews • Ensure consistent delivery of outstanding practice across the room High-Quality Childcare & Education • Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment • Observe, assess, and track children’s progress, maintaining accurate records • Support children’s emotional wellbeing, attachment, and early development Safeguarding & Welfare • Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and child protection • Ensure all health, safety, and hygiene policies are consistently followed • Carry out risk assessments and maintain a secure environment Parent Partnerships • Build strong, professional relationships with parents and carers • Provide regular feedback on children’s development and wellbeing • Manage queries and concerns with sensitivity and professionalism Compliance & Operations • Ensure full compliance with EYFS and local regulatory standards • Maintain accurate documentation, including registers and development records • Support inspections and quality assurance processes About YouWe are looking for a committed and experienced Early Years professional who thrives in a leadership role.
