Job description

1. Work within the scope of NMC Standards of Care to deliver compassionate, safe effective care and support to Children and Young People (CYP) and care providers. 2. Act as the CYPs advocate to promote and deliver the highest standard of care, ensuring all fundamentals of care are addressed, and current, relevant policies and procedures are adhered to 3. Proactively safeguard the welfare of all CYP and adults and actively adhere to safeguarding procedures and policies. Undertake Level 3 Childrens Safeguarding Training. 4. To safely undertake the following procedures to meet the patients nursing needs which include; undertaking routine procedures including venepuncture, recording and interpreting vital signs, pressure area care, wound care, NG tube and gastrostomy care. Identify and report any changes in patients condition to a registered nurse. 5. Work responsively to meet the needs of the CYP to prevent hospital admission, offering care closer to home. 6. Autonomous working in the community to deliver nursing Interventions in CYP's homes and in local Health Centres. Job description Job responsibilities 1.
