Job description

Time Appointments are working on behalf of a reputable and growing logistics company who are looking for an Ocean Freight Import Coordinator to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual who is seeking a challenge within a fast-paced environment and looking to enhance their knowledge and experience. Key Duties and Responsibilities: • Handle various import freight solutions • Monitor and understand arrival times/ delays and communicate with customers • Build and maintain strong customer relationships • Liaise closely with internal teams to provide an end-to-end service to customers • Ensure documentation and communication is correct and up to date Skills and Experience required: • Previous experience within Ocean Import Freight, or similar freight forwarding position • Strong knowledge of shipping lanes, with experience of handling of FCL and LCL shipments • Strong understanding of UK customs procedures • Good knowledge of shipping documentation and shipping terms • Excellent organisational skills • Excellent interpersonal and communications with the ability to deliver best in class customer service Core Benefits (Subject to eligibility): • Competitive salary and annual leave entitlement. • Company pension scheme. • Supportive mental health and wellbeing culture. • Employee recognition and reward programmes. • Learning management systems to support career development and expand knowledge and skills.
