Office Administrator (Transport) Location: Abingdon Job Type: Temp to Perm Salary: £32,500 per annum Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 7:00pm (1-hour lunch break) We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Office Administrator to join their busy transport team in Abingdon on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a varied and fast-paced role, ideal for someone with previous transport or logistics administration experience who enjoys providing excellent customer service and working as part of a close-knit team. Key Responsibilities • Providing administrative support to the transport operation. • Liaising with customers, drivers and Pallet-Track depots to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. • Handling a high volume of inbound telephone calls and responding to customer enquiries. • Monitoring deliveries and ensuring customer goods are delivered on time. • Producing and maintaining KPI reports. • Resolving delivery issues and communicating updates to customers. • Supporting the wider office team with general administrative duties. About You • Previous administration experience within a transport or logistics environment is essential. • Experience working with Pallet-Track or a pallet network would be advantageous. • Excellent communication and customer service skills. • Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. • Highly organised with strong attention to detail. • Able to work well under pressure in a busy office environment. • A proactive team player with a positive attitude. • Must hold a UK driving licence If you have transport administration experience apply directly or call
