Office Manager - Financial Planning Practice

IDEX Consulting is delighted to be working with a well-established boutique financial planning firm based in Solihull, who are looking to appoint an experienced Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the business. This is a key leadership role, responsible for managing the office, leading the support function and ensuring the business continues to deliver an excellent service to clients. Working closely with the Directors, you will play an important role in improving processes, supporting the team and helping drive future growth. The Role You will be responsible for overseeing the smooth running of the office and managing the wider support team, including Administrators, PAs and Paraplanners. Responsibilities include: • Leading, mentoring and developing the support team • Managing workloads and ensuring service levels are maintained • Improving processes and driving operational efficiencies • Supporting recruitment, onboarding and development of staff • Working closely with Advisers, Paraplanners and compliance teams • Ensuring a seamless client experience across the business About You We're looking for someone with: • Previous experience within an IFA, wealth management or financial planning environment • Experience managing or supervising support teams • Strong understanding of financial planning processes, including pensions and investments • Excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills • A proactive approach with the ability to improve systems and processes • Experience using Intelliflo Office (IO) or similar back-office systems would be advantageous What's on offer? • Competitive salary from £45,000+ • Hybrid working • Increasing annual leave with length of service • Death in Service • Pension • Long-term career progression within a growing financial planning business This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Financial Planning Office Manager, Operations Manager or Senior Team Leader looking to take ownership of the operational side of a growing boutique firm and work closely with senior leadership.
