Operations Assistant

Freightserve recruitment are looking for an Operations Assistant for a growing specialist Freight Forwarder. The role will be varied including office and warehouse duties. There is real progression offered with this position as the company are fast growing. The working hours are Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm, but there is a need to be flexible. The company are based in the West Drayton area. Duties:- • Arranging Imports and Exports • Completing all paperwork • Responding to e-mails • Customer Services • Communicate with overseas offices • Dealing with queries • Booking shipments with airlines • Administration duties • Liaising with suppliers • Pre-alerts • Warehouse duties (packing and labelling) • Unloading vehicles • No heavy lifting • Supporting and coordinating with management • Help in keeping the warehouse environment clean and tidy Experience Required:- • Freight, Courier or Logistics experience • Excellent customer service skills Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm As an agency we are fast becoming the number one Freight specialist in the UK.
