Operations Director - Manufacturing

We are hiring an Operations Director for a reputable, ever-growing & results driven manufacturing business in Derby. With a global customer base, this business has a reputation for delivering quality in an efficient manner whilst ever evolving and developing their product base. The business want to hire an experienced professional, who has a healthy amount of experience within manufacturing, who can strengthen operational performance, modernise processes and build a scalable platform for growth. Duties Will Include • Lead all site operations: manufacturing, planning, supply chain, logistics, quality, engineering, H&S and facilities • Shape and deliver the operational strategy to improve service, productivity, quality and cost • Strengthen planning, capacity management and production stability • Build a high performing leadership team and develop future capability • Drive continuous improvement, operational excellence and cultural transformation • Lead capital investment, operational projects and site-wide governance • Improve inventory, working capital and overall operational efficiency • Partner closely with Sales, Finance, Design and HR to support growth and customer delivery Suitable Candidates Will Be / Have • Senior operational leadership experience within manufacturing • A proven track record of improving delivery, productivity and quality performance • Strong planning, supply chain and production control knowledge • Experience building structure, accountability and leadership capability • A hands-on, visible leadership style with strong people development skills • The ability to drive cultural change and raise operational standards • Commercial and financial awareness For more information, apply via this advert or directly on the 3 Point Recruitment website!
