• Manage capacity planning and
resource allocation.
• Develop and implement
operational procedures and working practices.
• Lead operational improvement
and transformation projects.
• Coordinate business continuity
planning and testing.
• Produce and analyse operational
performance reports.
Leadership and Workforce Management
• Line manage the Reception Lead
and designated operational staff.
• Manage day-to-day staffing
issues and performance concerns.
• Monitor sickness absence and
attendance.
• Support recruitment and
selection processes.
• Identify operational training
and development needs.
• Promote a positive, accountable
and high-performing culture.
Patient Services and Complaints
•
Lead operational delivery of
patient services.
• Monitor appointment utilisation
and access performance.
• Investigate operational
complaints and prepare responses.
• Analyse trends and implement
service improvements.
• Support delivery of an
excellent patient experience.
Governance, Compliance and Risk
•
Act as operational lead for
Health & Safety.
• Coordinate risk assessments and
incident investigations.
• Support CQC compliance and
regulatory readiness.
• Monitor operational audits and
completion of actions.
• Ensure operational compliance
with Practice policies and procedures.
IT, Premises and Facilities
•
Lead implementation and
optimisation of operational systems.
• Manage premises maintenance,
contractors and facilities services.
• Oversee operational purchasing
within delegated budgets.
• Support digital innovation and
process improvement.
• Ensure the Practice environment
remains safe and fit for purpose.
Communication and Partnership Working
•
Work collaboratively with
clinicians, managers and external stakeholders.
• Attend and contribute to
management meetings.
• Support effective communication
across teams.
• Represent the Practice
professionally when required.
