Your new company
Your new role working as Operations Technician will be working for an independent and growing authorised intermediary, MGA and broker services platform, as well as Coverholder. They have a fresh, entrepreneurial approach and a track record for success, and are redefining the future for insurance businesses around the world. They collaborate with a wide variety of different companies, ranging from established industry leaders to small start-ups providing the infrastructure and operational expertise required to launch and scale insurance businesses. With offices based in the heart of the City, your new organisation is looking for an Operations Technician to come into the office 4 days a week to join their established Operations Team.
Your new role
You will play a key role within the Operations team, supporting the day-to-day running of multiple insurance products and schemes. This is a varied position where you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate processing of Bordereaux and Operational processing and as well as supporting reporting, compliance, and operational improvements.
Key responsibilities include:
• Managing and overseeing day-to-day operational processing across multiple insurance products and schemes
• Reviewing underwriting data to ensure completeness and accuracy
• Supporting premium processing, insurer reporting, and reconciliations
• Producing and reconciling bordereaux for insurers and capacity providers
• Investigating and resolving data discrepancies
• Supporting delegated authority processes and compliance requirements
• Assisting with audits, reporting, and regulatory adherence (including FCA standards)
• Contributing to process improvement initiatives and system enhancements
• Building strong relationships with brokers, insurers, and internal stakeholders
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will have:
• Previous experience within insurance operations in an MGA, insurer, broker or delegated authority environment
• Bordereaux processing
• Experience producing and reconciling bordereaux
• Excellent Excel and data handling skills
• High attention to detail and strong organisational capability
• Understanding of FCA requirements and delegated authority frameworks
• Experience within the London Market or Lloyd's environment
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

What you'll get in return
You'll be offered a competitive salary of up to £50,000 plus a comprehensive benefits package - This role is a 3 month contract with a view to going permanent.
You'll receive support from Managers and be given the opportunity to take on the further duties and responsibility in the future. You will also be required to be in the office 4 days a week.
