You'll work with the store team to deliver high-standard clinical care and customer service to meet both patient needs and business objectives. And of course, you'll be a key part in creating a warm and friendly environment for our customers and our team. Our store Specsavers in Barry is looking for an ambitious and talented Optometrist to join their thriving store on a part time basis. This busy practice hosts 7 full size test rooms, all with easy patient access and is easily commutable from Cardiff by car within 30 minutes. The practice is appointed with modern technical diagnostic equipment; perfect for those seeking clinical advancement, utilising higher accreditations or those hoping to attain an equity shareholding in the future. This is a great practice for anyone wanting to develop their career, both clinically and professionally. Colleague development takes centre stage whether you want to obtain higher accreditations such as IP or are interested in becoming a director yourself one day. In October 2023, a new contract for the delivery of eye care services in the community came into force in Wales - Wales General Opthalmic Services (WGOS). Under the new regulataions, optometrirsts will be able to fully utilse their professional higher accreditations when delivering eye care at primary level.
