Job description

• Manage and support dermatology outpatient clinics independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. • Conduct patient assessments for both new and follow-up appointments. • Assist consultants and specialist clinicians during dermatology procedures. • Perform comprehensive skin assessments and contribute to clinical decision-making. • Support the diagnosis and management of common dermatological conditions, including inflammatory skin diseases and skin lesions. • Prepare patients for examinations, biopsies, and minor surgical procedures. • Monitor patient progress and provide ongoing advice regarding treatment plans and skin care management. • Ensure accurate and timely completion of clinical records and documentation. • Maintain compliance with clinical governance, infection prevention, and safeguarding standards. • Escalate clinical concerns appropriately and contribute to maintaining a safe clinical environment. • Deliver excellent patient care whilst ensuring a positive patient experience throughout their pathway.
