Outsourcing Senior / Management Accountant

Due to continued growth within the Outsourcing department, the firm is seeking an experienced Outsourcing Senior / Management Accountant to join the team. Please learn more about the role below and ensure to apply now if you are interested: THE OPPORTUNITY This is an excellent opportunity for an Outsourcing Senior / Management Accountant looking to work closely with a varied portfolio of clients and take ownership of their day-to-day financial reporting requirements. You will act as a key point of contact for clients, supporting them with management information, financial reporting and outsourced finance function services. Responsibilities will include: • Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts • Reviewing bookkeeping and transactional processing • Preparation and review of VAT returns • Assisting with budgeting and cash flow forecasting • Balance sheet reconciliations and month-end processes • Some involvement in the preparation of statutory accounts • Supporting clients with cloud accounting systems and financial reporting requirements • Liaising directly with business owners and finance teams • Supervising and reviewing the work of junior team members where appropriate • Assisting managers and partners with ad hoc advisory projects QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE The successful candidate will ideally possess: • ACA or ACCA qualification (or be close to qualification) or similar • Previous experience within an accountancy practice outsourcing or business services team • Strong management accounting and financial reporting experience • Experience using cloud accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks or Sage • Excellent communication and client relationship skills • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines WHAT YOU'LL GET • Competitive salary and benefits package • Hybrid working arrangement • Exposure to a varied and interesting client portfolio • Direct client contact and responsibility • Supportive and collaborative working environment • Genuine long-term progression opportunities within a growing team Please ensure to apply now if this role is of interest and we will get in touch!
