Paediatric Junior Charge Nurse

The post holder will deliver highquality, compassionate nursing care in line with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and all Trust policies, ensuring every patient receives personalised support that meets their physical, social and psychological needs. They will communicate clearly and work collaboratively with patients, families, carers, nursing colleagues and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure care is safe, effective and consistently wellcoordinated.In supporting the Senior Sister/Charge Nurse, the post holder will help to maintain, improve and develop excellent standards of patient care, promoting privacy, dignity and respect at all times. They will play an active role in delivering Trust nursing, midwifery and patient experience initiatives, while ensuring practice remains aligned with current clinical evidence, audit findings and research developments. The post holder will champion the Essence of Care Framework, contributing to its local implementation and helping to embed best practice across the unit. They will also support NurseLed Discharge, working efficiently to discharge or transfer medically fit patients to appropriate settings, helping to maintain patient flow and ensure a positive experience for all service users.
