Painter & Decorator - Temporary Role (Gallery/Museum Setting) Location: Central London Job Type: Temporary Hours: 40 hours per week Pay Rates: £23.00 per hour (Umbrella) OR £20.00 per hour (PAYE) We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Painter & Decorator to join our client on a temporary basis, working within a prestigious gallery/museum environment in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the upkeep and presentation of a high-profile cultural venue, where attention to detail and a high-quality finish are essential. Key Responsibilities: • Carrying out interior painting and decorating works to a high standard • Preparing surfaces including sanding, filling, and priming • Applying paints, varnishes, and other finishes with precision • Ensuring all work areas are kept clean, tidy, and safe • Working in a sensitive environment, taking care to protect fixtures, fittings, and exhibits • Adhering to all health and safety regulations on site Requirements: • Proven experience as a painter and decorator • Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Reliable, punctual, and professional in approach • Experience working in commercial or heritage environments is desirable but not essential Additional Information: • Full-time hours (40 per week) • Temporary contract with immediate start available • Work located in Central London with excellent transport links If you are an experienced Painter & Decorator looking for your next opportunity within a unique and prestigious setting, we would like to hear from you.
