Painting & Decorating FE Opportunity - Estates Group Decorator We are currently supporting an FE provider within the South Yorkshire Area who are recruiting for a key Painting & Decorating / Estates role. We are actively seeking candidates with industry experience and are offering up to £250 in shopping vouchers for a successful recommendation. This opportunity is suitable for: • Lecturers, trainers, assessors or experienced decorators looking to transition into education • Permanent, full-time roles • Candidates with strong industry backgrounds in painting & decorating or estates maintenance Role overview: • Delivering practical Painting & Decorating skills within an FE environment • Supporting maintenance and improvement of college facilities (interior & exterior) • Working across multiple campuses on decoration schedules and projects • Covering preparation, painting, finishing, and use of materials (varnishes, stains, coatings) • Supporting learners (if teaching-focused) or contributing to a training environment Essential requirements: • Industry experience in Painting & Decorating (essential) • Level 2 qualification or above in a relevant vocational area • Knowledge of preparation, application techniques, and maintenance work • Strong understanding of health & safety practices (including working at height) • Experience within commercial or estates environments What’s on offer: • £29,455 salary + benefits • Permanent position (37 hours per week) • Multi-site role across campuses • Opportunity to work within education or estates environment • Long-term career development within FE Know someone suitable?
