Paraplanner Altrincham, Cheshire (WA14) Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 DOE + Excellent Benefits Hybrid Working Available An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Paraplanner to join a successful and growing financial planning practice based in Altrincham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised and technically minded individual who enjoys supporting advisers, producing high-quality client recommendations, and playing an integral role in delivering exceptional financial planning solutions. The Role As a Paraplanner, you will provide essential support to Financial Advisers throughout the advice process, carrying out detailed research, analysing client information, and producing comprehensive suitability reports and recommendations. You will play a key role in ensuring client records are accurate, compliant, and maintained to the highest standards while delivering an outstanding service to both clients and advisers. Key Responsibilities • Analyse clients' financial circumstances, objectives and requirements • Develop and maintain cashflow models and financial planning reports • Prepare product illustrations, suitability reports, recommendation letters and supporting documentation • Maintain complete and accurate client files and back-office records • Update cashflow models and carry out investment performance reviews • Produce financial planning reports, discussion papers and supporting analysis • Liaise with Financial Advisers to support the delivery of client recommendations • Coordinate with administration teams to ensure documentation and applications are completed accurately • Produce fund fact sheets and investment analysis using FE Analytics • Carry out risk assessments and compare risk ratings for investment recommendations • Complete attitude to risk assessments and pension analysis using industry software • Maintain accurate electronic records and ensure all documentation meets regulatory standards • Keep up to date with product developments, legislation and market changes • Adhere to FCA regulations and internal compliance procedures at all times About You The successful candidate will have: • Previous experience within a Paraplanning role • Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments and financial planning products • Experience using financial planning and provider platforms • Familiarity with back-office systems and financial software • Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail • Strong written and verbal communication skills • The ability to prioritise workload and work effectively under pressure • A proactive and adaptable approach with a strong client focus • The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment • A commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining industry knowledge What's on Offer? • Salary of £30,000 to £40,000 depending on experience and qualifications • Quarterly bonus scheme • Hybrid working with the opportunity to work from home one to two days per week following probation • Flexible working hours available • Supportive and professional working environment • Career development opportunities and industry training • Salary increase of £1,000 for each exam passed • 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays • Additional five days' holiday after five years' service • Two weeks off over the Christmas period • Company pension scheme • Regular team events and social activities This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Paraplanner looking to join a supportive and forward-thinking financial planning firm that genuinely invests in its people and offers excellent long-term career prospects.
