Paraplanner London | Hybrid Working (Up to 3 Days from Home) £45,000 - £60,000 + Bonus + Exceptional Benefits A leading UK wealth management and financial planning firm is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join its established Financial Planning team in London. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected organisation with a long-standing reputation for delivering bespoke wealth management and financial planning services to private clients, charities and institutions. The business manages significant assets on behalf of clients and offers a collaborative, professional environment with excellent long-term career prospects. The Opportunity Working closely with Financial Planners and Client Support teams, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial planning advice and an exceptional client experience. You will be responsible for preparing detailed research, drafting suitability reports and supporting advisers with the delivery of advice across a broad range of financial planning areas, including pensions, investments, tax planning and estate planning. Key Responsibilities • Produce high-quality suitability reports and financial planning recommendations. • Conduct technical research to support client reviews and new business advice. • Attend client meetings alongside Financial Planners and prepare detailed meeting notes. • Brief advisers on key client issues ahead of meetings. • Liaise directly with clients to gather information and clarify requirements. • Work collaboratively with advisers, administrators and wider stakeholders to deliver excellent client outcomes. • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, templates and best practice. • Manage your own workload effectively whilst maintaining exceptional standards. • Keep up to date with industry, tax and legislative developments. About You To be considered for this opportunity, you should possess: • Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent) or be working towards completion. • Previous experience within a Paraplanning role. • Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments and financial planning. • Good understanding of UK taxation, including Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax. • Experience supporting Financial Planners within a client-facing wealth management environment. • Excellent report writing, research and communication skills. • Chartered status or progress towards Chartered would be advantageous.
