Part Time Bookkeeper

Experienced BookkeeperCrawley Area | Part-Time 3 or 4 days PW | Permanent We're looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join a growing accountancy practice supporting a varied portfolio of SME clients. Practice experience is not essential, but CIS is. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working closely with clients, keeping financial records accurate and up to date and taking ownership of their workload within a friendly and supportive team. Key responsibilities include: • Maintaining bookkeeping records for multiple clients • Bank, sales and purchase ledger reconciliations • Preparing and submitting VAT and CIS returns • Producing accounts to trial balance • Assisting with self-assessment tax returns • Liaising with HMRC and clients when required • Providing management information and financial updates What we're looking for: • Minimum 2 years' bookkeeping experience • Good working knowledge of Xero, quickbooks or Sage • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills • Confident communicator with a client-focused approach • Experience within an accountancy practice would be advantageous but not essential What's on offer: • Competitive salary • Flexible part-time hours • Matched pension scheme • 28 days holiday including bank holidays (pro rata) • On-site parking • Ongoing training and development • Friendly, collaborative working environment If you're an experienced Bookkeeper looking for a role where you can build client relationships and be part of a growing business, we'd love to hear from you.
