Job description

Our client is recruiting for a private/NHS Associate Dentist to join their team in Hastings. This role is paid up to £16 per UDA for the right candidate with a performance number. There can be + UDAs available depending on number of days worked. Main Duties • Mixed private / NHS role, the practice profile 40/60 NHS/Private with 50% private fee split. • Huge scope for private treatments with high demand for Invisalign, Whitening, Implants, and Smile Design. • Managing an existing list of NHS, Practice Plan, and Fee Per Item patients. • Full clinical freedom. • Using CBCT 3D Image Scanner, Digital X rays, Rotary Endo, and Microscopes. • Access to iTero scanner for Invisalign and restorative. • Implant and Endodontic in-house and external referrals are available. • Taking patients’ medical histories. • Diagnosing and providing appropriate dental treatment including regular cleaning, root canals, surgical extractions, implants and cosmetic dentistry. • Referring patients for surgery or orthodontic work. • Making moulds of patients’ teeth and preparing prosthetics such as crowns, plates and implants. • Maintaining accurate patient records and details of consultations. • Keeping up with best practices, new technologies and innovations in the field of dentistry. • Managing a team including Hygienists, Dental Assistants and administrative staff. • Performing staff recruitment and training. Qualification’s Skills and Experience • Short Term Orthodontics, Implants, Cosmetic Dentistry, and Endodontics with any additional skill sets welcome. • 3 surgery dental practice computerised with Pearl. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Problem-solving skills. • Being detail-oriented and thorough. • Patience. • Flexibility. • Methodical nature. • BDS, BChD or LDS preferred. • Current General Dental Council (GDC) registration to practice dentistry. Working Hours • Starting as soon as possible – Notice periods taken into consideration. • Part-Time, flexible days and hours of work. • Practice opens: • Monday to Friday • 9am to 5.30pm We will try to respond to reply to all applications.
