Part-time Lifeguard

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Part-time Lifeguard to ensure the safety and well-being of pool visitors. This role involves monitoring swimming areas, enforcing safety regulations, and providing assistance in emergency situations. The ideal candidate will be responsible, alert, and committed to maintaining a secure environment for all patrons. Duties • Vigilantly monitor swimming areas to prevent accidents and respond swiftly to emergencies • Enforce pool rules and safety regulations in a courteous and professional manner • Administer first aid when necessary, including CPR if certified • Conduct regular safety checks of pool equipment and surrounding areas • Assist swimmers with questions or concerns, providing excellent customer service • Maintain cleanliness of the pool deck and surrounding facilities • Complete accurate incident reports and communicate effectively with team members and management Qualifications • Valid certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement) • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patrons and team members • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations • Knowledge of compliance management related to safety standards and regulations • Previous experience as a lifeguard is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates This role is ideal for individuals who are responsible, attentive, and passionate about promoting safety within a community environment.
