Part Time Management Accountant

Part Time Management Accountant | Nottinghamshire | £200 -£250 per day (umbrella) | 3 days on site An established, family-owned business is looking for a Part Time Management Accountant to take ownership of financial control and reporting, with genuine scope to grow the role over time. This is a chance to join a stable and established finance team and become a key part of a business with a strong local reputation. What you'll be doing • Taking full ownership of financial control and reporting, from bookkeeping through to management accounts • Producing monthly management accounts with supporting analysis and trend reporting • Managing high-volume daily transactions alongside occasional higher-value sales • Building and maintaining cash flow forecasts • Overseeing statutory and insurance reporting, VAT and digital tax compliance • Leading year-end and audit processes • Managing and developing a team of three accounts staff What we're looking for • Solid experience in a management accounting role, ideally with previous line management experience • ACCA/CIMA qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience — we're open on qualification route • Comfortable working across high transaction volumes and varied invoice values • Retail, automotive or dealership background is a bonus but not essential • A confident, adaptable people manager who brings good energy to an established team
