The position would suit an experienced Personal Tax professional looking to further their career within a growing practice. Equally, candidates with a mixed Accounts and Tax background who are keen to specialise within personal tax will be considered. You will be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of personal tax clients and delivering both compliance and advisory services. Working closely with the firm's experienced Partners and Managers, your responsibilities will include: • Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients • Preparing and reviewing self assessment tax returns • Advising clients on personal tax matters and responding to queries • Assisting with tax planning projects and advisory work • Building and maintaining strong client relationships • Working with a diverse client base including: • Owner managed businesses • Directors and shareholders • Sole traders and partnerships • High net worth individuals • Property investors and landlords • Trusts and estates As the firm continues to grow, there will be genuine opportunities to expand your responsibilities and further develop your tax career. RequirementsWe are keen to hear from candidates who have developed experience within accountancy practice or a specialist tax environment and have exposure to personal tax work. You may be: • ATT or AAT qualified • Studying ATT, CTA, ACA or ACCA • Qualified by experience • A Personal Tax specialist seeking a new challenge • From a mixed Accounts and Tax background and looking to specialise within personal tax Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a client focused approach are essential.
